Steeves Bujold, Ad. E., is a partner in our Montreal office and leader of the firm’s Litigation Group for the Quebec region. He has a diversified practice in litigation and in-depth expertise in health law, medical and pharmaceutical liability, and professional law. He regularly appears before the courts of justice, the courts of appeal and administrative tribunals.

He is a former President of the Canadian Bar Association (2022-2023) and was a member of its Board of Directors from 2019 to 2023. At the CBA, he has been Vice-President (2021-2022), Chair of the Equality Sub-Committee (2019-2020), Chair of the CEO Selection Committee and Chair of the Policy Committee (2020-2021). Steeves is also a member of the Quebec Bar's Petitions Committee.

Mr. Bujold is currently a member of the Federal Judicial Advisory Committee for Quebec – West, serving a second term, and was a member of the Independent Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Judicial Appointments.

In 2023, he was conferred the distinction of Advocatus Emeritus (Ad. E.) by the Quebec Bar, a prestigious designation awarded to members for their outstanding career, their exceptional contribution to the profession and their remarkable outreach in their community. Mr. Bujold is also the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and Governor Emeritus of the Fondation du Barreau du Québec.

He received his Bachelor of Civil Law from Université Laval in 1998. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 1999 and admitted to the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec in 2021.
