Sophia is a second-year law student at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. Sophia completed her undergraduate degree in the UK, at the University of Leicester in Leicestershire, where she earned her LLB with first-class honours.

While in England she was involved heavily with legal volunteer work, working as a legal researcher for Lawyers Without Borders, and volunteering part-time for a legal aid organization in Leicestershire. She was also heavily involved in mooting, debate, and Model-UN, competing regularly at competitions across the UK.

At Queen’s, Sophia worked as a Student Caseworker for Queen’s Legal Aid, a poverty law clinic that provides legal help to low-income residents and students. She also volunteers with Pro Bono Students Canada as a legal researcher for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association. 

In her free time, Sophia enjoys learning new instruments, and reading all things politics, history, and John Grisham.
