Samantha Haggarty is a law clerk in the firm’s Real Property and Planning Group in Toronto. Samantha assists clients in various areas of commercial real estate matters including mortgage financing transactions, multi-property and multi-jurisdictional acquisitions and dispositions. Samantha has experience in drafting, reviewing and registering closing documents, conducting title and off-title searches and coordinating transaction closings.

Samantha began her career in the legal profession working as a law clerk in litigation, eventually moving to commercial real estate. She brings experience in all aspects of commercial real estate law with an emphasis on commercial mortgage financing, acquisition and disposition transactions. Samantha has experience in several Canadian provincial jurisdictions including Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia.

Samantha graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Business in 2016. She also graduated from the Accelerated Law Clerk Diploma Program at Seneca College in 2018.
