Mitchell Lui is an associate in the Business Law Group in Toronto. He maintains a general business law practice, which includes advising the firm’s clients on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, and general corporate matters.
Mitchell received his JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2020. He previously obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, where he double majored in English and Media Studies. Mitchell also completed a semester of law school on exchange at the University of Amsterdam.
While in law school, he served as a Senior Associate Editor on the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review and the Vice-President of the Asia Law Society, as well as a research assistant to faculty members. He is also a former student director on the board of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
Mitchell was called to the bar in 2021 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
