Michele Zinsli Ma is a paralegal in our Business Law Services Group in Vancouver. Michele supports clients by completing the due diligence requirements and the preparation of Personal Property Security Act registrations. She conducts, coordinates, reviews and prepares summaries for all necessary due diligence for real property acquisitions, share purchases and lending transactions. Michele also prepares the British Columbia Personal Property Security Act registrations for all types of transactions. Michele adds value for her clients by blending her knowledge in due diligence, real property acquisitions and litigation to provide the client with the due diligence information required for completing a transaction. She also adds value for her clients by reviewing and preparing general collateral descriptions, and preparing British Columbia Personal Property Security Act financing statements and filing any necessary financing change statements as the transaction requires. Michele also coordinates the national audit enquiry program.

Experience

Michele brings extensive due diligence, real property and British Columbia Personal Property Security Act support experience. Michele started her legal career in residential conveyancing, moving on to litigation with a specialty in foreclosure, insolvency and bankruptcy and then to commercial lending. Her knowledge in these areas created extensive background knowledge for due diligence. As a due diligence paralegal, she has actively participated in real estate acquisitions and corporate acquisitions and reorganizations. Her clients include real estate developers, hydro energy groups and companies in various other business fields.
