Michael is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Alberta. Prior to attending law school, he completed a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia.

At law school, Michael is a member of the editorial board of the Alberta Law Review, where he engages firsthand with academic aspects of the law. He is also a student clinician at the River City Venture Clinic (UofA’s business law clinic), where he has the opportunity to participate in contract drafting and legal research in the fields of business law, employment law, and intellectual property. Michael also shows his passion for mental health advocacy, as a volunteer for the Alberta Lawyers Assistance Program. His other memberships include the Environmental Law Students Association, and In Vino Veritas (the law students wine club).

In his spare time, you can catch Michael training for a charity run, playing hockey, jamming out on the guitar, or beating his friends at Super Smash Bros.
