Megan Pryor is an associate in our Litigation and Labour & Employment Groups in Calgary. She maintains a litigation and dispute resolution practice, assisting clients in various industries including construction, energy, and oil and gas. Megan assists clients on a variety of matters, including contractual disputes, construction and project-related claims, labour relations disputes, human rights complaints, and wrongful dismissal claims.  

Megan assists employers on a range of issues including employment contracts, policy development and implementation, employment standards compliance, performance management, terminations, and corporate transactions. Prior to becoming an associate, she summered and articled with McCarthy Tétrault.

Megan received her J.D. from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Psychology (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta. During law school, Megan volunteered with Student Legal Assistance, Calgary Legal Guidance, and Pro Bono Students’ Canada. In her final year, she represented the University of Calgary at the Gale Cup Moot.

Megan volunteers with the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Project and the King's Bench Amicus Project, which provide free legal assistance to unrepresented litigants. She also volunteers with the Elementary School Mock Trial Project which provides mock trial programs to students in Calgary elementary schools. Megan sits on the committees for the firm's Ability Action Group and United Way Campaign.

Megan is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Calgary Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
