Mathieu Munger-Bernier is an associate in our Banking and Financial Services Group in Québec City. His practice is primarily focused on business financing and banking law, notably in the technology, transportation, agribusiness, and forestry industries, as well as both national and international corporate finance.

Some of Mathieu’s recent transactions include:

• advising a number of lending syndicates in connection with business financings in the technology industry based on recurring revenues;
• advising a lending syndicate in connection with the financing of a major national hotel chain;
• advising a financial institution in connection with the financing of a major automotive dealers association;
• advising companies, lending syndicates and financial institutions in connection with financings in the forestry industry;
• advising a group of financial institutions in connection with an emergency loan in the agribusiness sector;
• advising a company in connection with an aircraft acquisition financing.

Mathieu obtained a bachelor’s degree in law from Université Laval in 2020. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 2021.

He is a member of the Quebec Bar and the Canadian Bar Association.
