Maria is an associate in our Business Law Group in Calgary. She maintains a general corporate and securities practice which includes corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.

Maria has experience advising clients on a variety of corporate transactions including public offerings, private placements, corporate reorganizations and share and asset acquisitions. She also advises on continuous disclosure obligations to ensure regulatory compliance with securities laws and stock exchange rules.

Maria obtained her Bachelor of Arts, Sociology from the University of Alberta and her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University.

Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Maria completed her articles and practiced at another major firm in Calgary.

Maria is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar Association.
