Louis Therrien Lapointe is an associate in our Business Law Group in Montreal. His practice focuses on all aspects of large-scale infrastructure implementation and on other similar projects in a wide range of sectors, including transportation, mining and energy, as well as the industrial sector.
Before joining McCarthy Tétrault, Louis was Senior Legal Counsel for an internationally recognized engineering consulting firm and has also worked several years at a major Quebec law firm.
Louis is particularly interested in collaborative project delivery methods, notably Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). He has significant experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts for major infrastructure projects, including projects delivered in both alternative and collaborative modes.
Louis was called to the Quebec Bar in 2014 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in law from Université Laval in 2013.
