Loïc is a graduate of the cooperative program at the Université de Sherbrooke's Faculty of Law (LL.B.). Before starting his university studies, he obtained a diploma of collegial studies in Sciences, Lettres et Arts from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. Throughout his studies, he received numerous distinctions for academic excellence as a student athlete, as well as awards for his significant community involvement. His academic excellence also earned him a place on the Dean's List of the Université de Sherbrooke's Faculty of Law.

His academic path is characterized by his particular experiences, notably as a tutor at his faculty's Centre d'entraide à l'Étude par les pairs, and as a member of the editorial team of the Revue de Droit de l'Université de Sherbrooke. During his second year of law school, he took part in an appeal civil law mock trial. Loïc is also involved in his community, acting as a basketball coach at a Sherbrooke high school during his studies.

The cooperative program enabled him to gain experience by working in the legal department of a major corporation.

Loïc is an active sports enthusiast and he has a particular passion for downhill skiing. He is also an avid reader.
