Laura holds a BCL/JD degree from McGill’s Faculty of Law. Prior to her law degree, she earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Philosophy from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Laura has a particular interest in litigation, health law, as well as public law. During her legal studies, Laura acted as a Research Assistant for the legal team at St. Justine hospital in Montreal. She was also actively involved with the Legal Information Clinic at McGill, initially as a volunteer and subsequently as a Director in her third year of studies.

As an engaged member of her community, Laura is proud to have been a part of the L.E.X. program which offers legal rights workshops for youth in the Montreal area.

As someone who is an avid cook, Laura enjoys hosting dinner parties and trying her hand at new dishes for her guests. Laura is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
