Jessica Cytryn is an associate in the firm’s Business Group and Retail and Consumer Markets Group in Montreal. Her practice is focused on providing strategic and common-sense advice across a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, and acting in corporate and commercial transactions.
Drawing on over a decade of experience working in food, beverage, and hospitality, Jessica assists manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and retailers operating in these sectors, among others, in connection with their Canadian regulatory obligations, including packaging and labelling requirements, obtaining requisite permits and licenses, advertising and marketing programs, supply chain matters, and compliance with mandatory standards and consumer protection laws. Through her pragmatic and considered counsel, Jessica helps clients navigate increasingly complex regulatory regimes with confidence.
Jessica holds BCL/JD degrees from McGill University’s Faculty of Law, where she received the Gerald S. Tritt Prize in Special Contracts and was named the inaugural Lallemand Food Law Scholar. She serves on the operational committee of the Canadian Association for Food Law and Policy, is the President of the Montreal Restaurant Workers Relief Fund, and holds a WSET Level 2 Award in Wine and Spirits.
