Jamie recently completed her second year at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Western Ontario, graduating with an Honors Double Major in Pharmacology and Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences. During her studies, Jamie received U Sports Academic All-Canadian and All-OUA Academic awards as member of the Varsity Field Hockey team. In addition, Jamie started her own business to help local companies receive research funding and government grants for innovative projects.

During law school, Jamie has contributed to her student community as a Fundraising Executive of the Women’s Law Forum and as an upper year mentor for the 1L Mentorship Program. She was also a volunteer with Student Legal Services on the Civil and Family Law Project. More recently, Jamie was a semi-finalist at the Canadian Client Consultation Competition representing the University of Alberta. Jamie remains involved in the athletics as she is staffed with University of Alberta Athletics as part of their promotional team and plays on the law faculty’s intramural volleyball, futsal, and soccer team.

In her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with family and friends. Jamie’s hobbies include travelling, skiing, running, and gardening.
