Jamie Parker is an associate in the Technology Group. He provides practical solutions for a broad range of clients in their strategic commercial transactions, including in relation to software-as-a-service (SaaS), licensing, privacy, collaboration arrangements, data sharing, consumer contracts, and outsourcing transactions.

Jamie leverages his experience assisting both acquirers and sellers of technology and data solutions in diverse industries to achieve clients’ goals, manage risk, and unlock opportunities in emerging technologies, intellectual property, and data.

Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Jamie practiced at a leading international law firm in Toronto.

Jamie holds a BSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Toronto. He received his JD from the University of Toronto in 2018, where he served as an executive of the Technology and Intellectual Property Group.

Jamie was called to the Ontario bar in 2019. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
