Christoph completed a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor at the McGill University Faculty of Law in December 2022. Before beginning his studies in law, Christoph completed an Hons. B.A in Political Science at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. During his undergraduate degree, Christoph spent four summers working in the forestry sector, won several awards for papers on legal subjects, and spent his final year working at the Newfoundland Human Rights Commission.

Christoph is a creative legal problem solver with a passion for oral advocacy. Throughout his legal studies he volunteered with Innocence Canada, looking into allegations of wrongful convictions, Dyslexia Canada, providing accommodation guidelines for parents of dyslexic children, the McGill Legal Information Clinic, providing legal information to members of the Montréal community, and the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations, working on judicial review applications for marginalized clients. Christoph represented McGill during the 2022 Laskin moot where his team placed 2nd and he received the 5th highest individual score.

In his spare time, Christoph enjoys exploring the wilder parts of Québec whether biking in Gaspésie, skiing in the Laurentians, or relaxing with friends in Montréal’s many parks.
