Law School

University of Windsor

Chiedza recently completed her second year of law school at the University of Windsor. Before law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University of Alberta, Augustana Campus. She is an advocate for life-long learning and holistic training as exemplified in her multidisciplinary educational background.

Chiedza is an avid volunteer within her community. She volunteered with Community Legal Aid for three terms and worked as a summer student in her 1L summer. She spends her time volunteering with the Mandatory Information Program in Windsor and holding legal information sessions for the International Student’s Office at the University of Windsor.

This past year she held the position of Event Chair of the Black Law Students’ Association – Windsor Chapter. Through this, she organized social, networking, and awareness events for the student body. She has spent two terms working as the Research Assistant for the Anti-Black Racism Committee. In this role, she has assisted in curating anti-Black racism educational resources for the Law faculty.

In her spare time, Chiedza enjoys working out, catching up on the newest shows, and discovering new foods with friends.
