Catherine Bélanger Pâquet is an associate in our Litigation Group in Québec City. Her practice focuses mainly on civil, commercial and contract litigation, as well as on professional and medical liability. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Jeune Barreau de Québec.

Actively involved in her profession, Ms. Bélanger Pâquet is a member of the board of directors of Justice Pro Bono and the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Community Section of the Canadian Bar Association. She is also a member of the 2019–2020 cohort of the United Way Centraide Emerging Philanthropists. At the firm, Ms. Bélanger Pâquet serves as the Québec City office’s regional chair for the national Pride Action Group and has participated in a number of initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and equality for sexual minorities, particularly as a speaker.

In January 2019, she received McCarthy Tétrault’s Inclusion Now award in recognition of her commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, the advancement of women and equality for sexual minorities.

Since 2020, Ms. Bélanger Pâquet has co-authored a section of the LexisNexis edition of JurisClasseur Québec – Procédure Civile I.

Ms. Bélanger Pâquet obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Bishop’s University in 2013 and a bachelor’s degree in civil law from Université Laval in 2016.
