Law School

University of British Columbia

Camila is currently a JD student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Prior to attending law school, Camila graduated from Queen’s University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Global Development Studies. She was awarded the medal for the highest standing in the program. During her time at Queen’s University, Camila worked as a Residence Don where she supported first-year undergraduate students with mental health, academic and social challenges.

In law school, Camila volunteers with Amici Curiae through Pro Bono Students Canada and with Artist’s Legal Outreach. This past year, Camila also participated in the Allard Law School Criminal Law Clinic which gave her the opportunity to represent multiple clients and appear in front of Provincial Court Judges on sentencing and other criminal matters.

Passionate about the law student experience, Camila also volunteers as a peer mentor for first-year law students and as a member of the Allard Ski Team bringing together law students and legal professionals throughout the ski season.

In her free time, Camila enjoys spin classes, watching stand-up comedy, and spending her time outdoors skiing, spotting wildlife and paddleboarding.
