Ashley is a Bachelor in Civil Law and Juris Doctor (B.C.L./J.D.) candidate completing her second year at the McGill University Faculty of Law. She previously graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Université de Montréal and worked at the Montreal Children’s Hospital as a pediatric and psychiatric nurse clinician throughout her legal studies. She also possesses a certificate in Victimology from the Université de Montréal.

During her studies, Ashley was the senior online editor of the McGill Journal of Law and Health (MJLH) and was involved in the McGill community as an executive member of the Black Law Students’ Association. She was also a member of the Pro Bono Students of Canada (PBSC) initiative, which pairs students with various community organizations that seek to improve access to justice.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys Pilates, dance, ice skating, and singing.
