Anne-Émilie completed her license in civil law (LL.L.) from the University of Ottawa with honors: « Cum Laude » (2022). In her first year, she was placed on the dean's list in addition to being awarded several merit scholarships throughout her degree. Prior to university, she obtained a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) at the English-speaking college Champlain St-Lawrence.

During her training in Ottawa, Anne-Émilie got involved in many extracurricular activities. She participated in the Pierre-Basile Mignault pleading competition, which allowed her to gain valuable experience in a practical context. She also worked as a tutor for the Faculty of Law to support fellow students in their academic journey by deepening their understanding of important theoretical concepts.

In addition, having human issues at heart, Anne-Émilie served as Vice-President of Finance for the association “Avocat sans frontières” at the University of Ottawa.

Anne-Émilie enjoys traveling, reading and a variety of sports including cycling, crossfit and volleyball. She also played rugby during her collegial studies.
