Amélie Lehouillier is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group in the Montréal office. Her practice focuses primarily on civil and commercial litigation, with a focus on contractual litigation, international law, product liability and class actions, where she excels in complex litigation.

She has represented her clients before all levels of court in Quebec and the Supreme Court of Canada. She has also participated in several large-scale trials and has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation. Her commitment to her clients and her legal knowledge make her a reliable resource.

Here are some of the clients that Amélie has represented:

  • several multinationals subject to consumer law class actions;
  • an agency of a foreign state in its defence of a probate judgment in order to assert state immunity;
  • An engineering firm developing components for a biofuel plant in their defenses against a customer claim of more than $40 million related to the sale and delivery of industrial equipment for the manufacture of biofuel. and
  • a company and other victims of embezzlement of large funds (more than $22 million) in a civil action to recover the sums.

Amélie has also advised several clients on the drafting of anti-corruption policies.

She obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université Laval in 2019. During her studies, Amélie served as president of the Legal Information Bureau.

Amélie was called to the Quebec Bar in 2020.
