In 2019, Dave was named Senior Executive of the Year (Eastern Canada) by the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion for his commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Under his leadership, Dave led the expansion of the firm’s international strategy highlighted by the opening of a New York City office. Focused on M&A, capital markets and private equity, the McCarthy Tétrault New York team has leveraged industry expertise to drive success for both Canadian and U.S. clients on their complex cross-border transactions.

Dave continues to foster a culture of innovation, and has led the firm in reimagining new service offerings to meet shifting client demand.
