Biography

Camille Marceau is a currently a student at the Faculty of Law at McGill University and will complete the joint B.C.L LL. B program in December 2017. She was ranked on the Dean’s Honour list for academic achievement following her first year of studies. Before attending law school Camille graduated from the Université de Montreal in 2013 with a B.Sc in Biomedical Sciences.

While studying at McGill, Camille has been an active member of the community, volunteering for the Legal Information Clinic and working on both the McGill Journal of Dispute Resolution and the McGill Journal of Law and Health. Camille also organised the speakers for the 2016 Colloquium of the Confédération des Association des Étudiantes et Étudiants en Droit (CADED), and helped coordinate the entries, and plan the colloquium for, the 2016 Nappert Prize Essay Competition in International Commercial Arbitration. She also had the chance to work alongside the Honourable Yves-Marie Morissette at the Quebec Court of Appeals in the context of a clerkship course.

Outside of law school, Camille spends her spare time cooking, reading, swimming and travelling. She also has a keen interest in languages and enjoys practicing her Spanish and hopes to improve her German.
