Biography

Alyssa earned JD and MBA degrees from the UofT Faculty of Law and Rotman School of Management and an HBSc with High Distinction in the Forensic Science and Biology Specialist program at UofT.

Before joining the firm, Alyssa worked in the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission, evaluating TSX issuer compliance with National Instrument 58-101 Disclosure of Corporate Governance Practices updates on women serving on boards and in executive office.

At law school, Alyssa volunteered at Downtown Legal Services to represent a student at an Academic Offence Hearing at the UofT Tribunal and with Law in Action Within Schools. At Rotman, she was a Rotman Scholar, leading tutorials for the MBA Operations Management course, and served as a Fellow in the Rotman OnBoard Fellowship Program, consulting for Big Brothers Big Sisters Toronto.

In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys singing and fitness activities, including kayaking, weightlifting and exploring the outdoors.
