Kishan is currently completing his J.D. at Queen’s University’s Faculty of Law. In his first year at Queen’s he served as the Class of 2018 Law Students’ Society President, and more recently served as the Society of Graduate and Professional Students Vice-President Professional. He has also been a radio host for Pro Bono Students Canada’s “Pro Bono Radio” and served as an executive member on multiple clubs. To remain active, Kishan also plays on numerous intramural sports teams.
Prior to attending law school, Kishan received a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. He is using this degree to become a Registered Pharmacist, which he is on track to become in 2018.
During his time in Manchester, he played in goal on the University’s hockey team.
Kishan’s previous experiences include working at a personal injury firm, with a leading accounting firm’s legal team, and more recently at an experienced criminal defence firm where he had the opportunity to appear in court daily, attend trials, and review disclosure.
In his free time, Kishan enjoys soccer and hockey, and tries to watch as many documentaries as he can.
