Biography

Sarah attended law school at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Throughout her degree she volunteered as a mock trial teacher, student mentor, and school ambassador. She was also involved in legal clinics, working as a research assistant at Art Legal Aid Society and Justice for Children and Youth.  In her third year of law school she competed in the 2017 Warren K. Winkler Moot and received the award for Best Defendant Factum.

Sarah completed her undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University, where she did a double major in psychology and philosophy. She was awarded a full tuition scholarship on the basis of academic achievement, placed on the Deans’ List each semester, and graduated with distinction. During her degree she also published a paper in Corvus, Dalhousie University's Undergraduate Journal of Philosophy.

While at university, Sarah spent her summers working at non-profit organizations for at-risk youth. She took on a large variety of roles, working as a bike instructor, rock climbing teacher, theatre director, and hiking guide. Sarah is passionate about the arts. She has a background in dance and musical theater, and enjoys photography in her spare time. She is also an avid adventurer who loves skiing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
