Sarah Ferguson is completing her JD at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (Biomedical Option) from Queen’s University. She then worked for two years at the international engineering consulting firm Hatch Ltd., where she worked on conceptual studies and financial models as part of the Iron and Steel Business Unit.
While at Queen’s, Sarah has volunteered an Executive member of the Queen’s Corporate Law Club and the Queen’s Law Cancer Society. During second year, she was a choreographer for the Cabaret for the Cure fundraiser 2L dance. Sarah is a tutor for the Queen’s Academic Assistance Program. She also worked as a Teaching Assistant for an upper-year commerce Business Law course, and as a Research Assistant developing a business law simulation for Queen’s Intelligent Simulation Project, in partnership with the Ontario Centres of Excellence AdvancedEducation Program.
Last summer, Sarah worked as a Queen's Business Law Clinic caseworker to provide pro bono legal services to local entrepreneurs, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys cooking/taking pictures of food, outdoor activities and travelling.
