Meghan Hillstrom is a student at Osgoode Hall Law School. Meghan studied at Laurentian University where she graduated with the highest of honours, BSc. (magna cum laude), in Forensic Science.
Meghan is an active member of the Osgoode community. This past year, Meghan was an orientation week leader, held a senior executive position in the Osgoode Women’s Network (OWN), an upper year mentor and was a member of the peer support network. Meghan was also a Criminal Law Division Leader in the Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) intensive for the previous summer and academic year. Additionally, during 1L, Meghan volunteered as a client intake volunteer and caseworker at (CLASP) and was a general member of OWN.
Meghan is particularly interested in litigation as she enjoyed mooting in her 1L year and her in-court experience in 2L, but is specifically interested in medical malpractice files. Outside of school and work, Meghan enjoys the outdoors, travelling and sports. She plays many sports including volleyball, soccer, basketball and hockey in addition to being an avid sports fan.
