Sharanya received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Law and Society. She made the move from Vancouver to Toronto to attend Osgoode Hall Law School, where she has just completed her second year.
At Osgoode, Sharanya is active in advocacy. She has completed several moots, including winning the Torys Cup 2016, competing in the Cassels Brock “Baby Gale” Cup 2016, and representing Osgoode in the Davies’ Corporate/Securities Moot 2017. During this past year, she volunteered for Pro Bono Law Ontario as an intake worker, helping low-income unrepresented litigants at Small Claims Court.
When she has spare time, she likes reading, watching movies, and exploring the city she now calls home. When she has spare funds, she enjoys travelling, with the goal of seeing as many UNESCO World Heritage Sites as possible.
