Linda has completed a joint common law and civil law degree at McGill University’s Faculty of Law. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and East Asian Studies from McGill University. She speaks fluent French, Arabic, and English, and has studied German, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish. During her undergraduate studies, Linda won a Chinese speech contest for university students in Canada, which allowed her to attend the world’s largest Chinese language competition in Hunan, China.
As a law student, Linda clerked for a judge at the Court of Quebec, and represented her law faculty at the Winkler Cup, a mooting competition focused on class actions. She volunteered at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill, providing free legal information to underserved members of the Montreal community. She also worked for a local Montreal NGO, helping to organize a human rights training program for advocates from over 25 countries.
In her spare time, Linda enjoys taking dance classes and playing music.
