Jacob Klugsberg is a student at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, Jacob obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from McMaster University, where he graduated summa cum laude. After completing his first year of law school, Jacob was the recipient of the Ronald J. Rolls ’58 Q.C. Prize awarded to the top student in each section of Civil Procedure.
Jacob has been an active member of the Osgoode community. He was an Osgoode Student Ambassador, Vice-President of the Jewish Law Student Association, President of the Osgoode Conservatives, a student mentor, and a caseworker for the Community Legal Aid Services Programme. Jacob also enjoys competitive mooting, and has competed in and judged several moots. This past year, Jacob was a member of the Price Media Law Moot team where he advanced to the International Rounds in Oxford, England.
Jacob actively participates in Canadian politics. The past two summers, he has worked at Queen’s Park in the Leader of the Official Opposition’s office assisting with research, policy development and communications. In his free time, Jacob is an avid sports fan and enjoys cooking, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
