Anna-Marie has recently completed her second year as a J.D. student at the University of Victoria. She has an undergraduate degree in Engineering Chemistry from Queen’s University, where her fourth-year research work specialized in aqueous emulsion polymerization.
Following her graduation from Queen’s, she moved to London, England on a working holiday visa. She spent two years working for a variety of organizations, from the Beatles Store to the London 2012 Olympic Games, and traveling throughout Europe on her time off.
While at UVic, Anna-Marie has been involved with the Indigenous Law Club, the Intellectual Property Law Club, and Pro Bono Students Canada, and took on an organizing role in the 2014 annual Aboriginal Awareness Camp. She spent the past summer working for British Columbia’s Provincial Forest Fire Reporting Centre.
In her spare time, Anna-Marie enjoys reading, playing classical piano, volleyball and hiking.
