- Project manage awards program
- Provide reviews and recommendations related to award opportunities ensuring brand consistency and evaluating reputational impact of win

Responsibilities
- Monitors, maintains, and upgrades the firm-wide physical hardware, software, and networking infrastructure for optimal operational performance and reliability, utilizing team tools and monitoring systems. Develops and maintains related documentation and procedures. Liaises with all other local administrative departments for planned support and maintenance.
- Provides supervisor with expert assistance in developing predictive analysis of firm-wide network trends, performance, activity and security. Assists in assessing critical infrastructure components in order to recommend improvements to accommodate growth, sustain or improve performance levels and security.
- Analyzes firm-wide core services reliability, performance and security issues, identifies exposures to the firm. Benchmarks core services trends; documenting all incidents of anomalous activity. Utilizes this data to proactively recommend improvements to firm technologies and procedures.
- Provides second-level support for Technology Infrastructure-related issues escalated via Support Services or alerted via monitoring systems. Assists Support Services in providing reliable and responsive system availability to firm-wide users. Troubleshoots firm-wide physical hardware, software and networking infrastructure to resolve issues within committed SLAs. Prepares incident analysis reports and knowledge articles as appropriate. Works with the Support Services to upgrade understanding, skills and knowledge base.
- May evaluate and recommend network hardware, operating systems, patches and supporting software. Prepares a project charter, implementation plan and schedule for approved solutions or improvements. This involves identifying, installing, configuring and testing core services and server applications. Cross-trains TI team to ensure proper coverage and support of all core services technologies.
- Documents and maintains system design, configuration, performance benchmarks, firm standards, and system procedures.
- Keeps current with new technologies within the industry and legal community.

Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Required academic, professional certifications and business education. In addition to education, required work experience.
- College Degree in Computer Systems.
- Six to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in a professional services environment.

- Provide the firm with a “one-stop approach” to event planning, including liaising with lawyers and staff, negotiating contracts, selecting venues, managing budgets and expenses, and developing timelines, as well as managing materials, invitations, RSVPs, onsite staffing, AV requirements, vendors/suppliers, registration, catering, gifts and entertainment.
- Research, develop, plan and execute client events that are in line with the firm’s strategic direction.
- Work closely with the lawyers and the firm’s Relationship Intelligence team to develop well-targeted guest lists comprising of clients and prospects.
- Produce detailed and comprehensive event reports (pre and post); track and report on attendance, budget and successes; make recommendations for improvement for future events; schedule post mortem meetings with responsible lawyers to discuss “lessons learned.”
- Provide stakeholders and marketing professionals across the firm with regular event updates including updating the Intranet.
- Manage inventory and distribution of event tickets, gifts and marketing collateral.
- Provide various ongoing and regular administrative and marketing support to the Director and department.
Qualifications
- Post secondary education in business, marketing, communications and/or a diploma in event planning.
- Five years' experience in major event planning in corporate, hospitality and/or not-for-profit environments. Experience in professional services firms an asset.
