Biography

Caroline-Ariane Bernier is an associate in our Labour & Employment Group in Montréal. Her practice focuses on representing both federally and provincially regulated employers in the private and public sectors.

During law school, Ms. Bernier clerked with Quebec’s Human Rights Tribunal, was a project manager for the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice, and volunteered with the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations. In addition, she worked at the successions branch of Revenu Québec’s unclaimed property department and acted as the Vice-President Administration for the student association.

Ms. Bernier obtained a Bachelor’s degree in civil law and common law from McGill University in 2014. She then articled with the Centre communautaire juridique de Montréal, where she had the opportunity to represent clients before various courts and tribunals, including the Superior Court, the Court of Québec, the Tribunal administratif du travail, the Tribunal administratif du Québec, the Régie du logement and the Social Security Tribunal of Canada. Prior to studying law, she obtained an Honours Social Science diploma from Marianopolis College. Ms. Bernier was called to the Québec Bar in 2016.
