Kayla Albin is an associate in our Competition Law Group in Toronto. She maintains a general practice with a significant focus on acting for clients seeking competition/antitrust and foreign investment review clearances for mergers and acquisitions.
Kayla obtained her Bachelor of Commerce with First-Class Honours from Queen’s University in 2013. She received her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2016. While in law school, Kayla was selected for an Internship Award through the Hennick Centre for Business and Law. She spent her first-year summer with the Legal department of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS), where she delved into and analyzed OMERS Ventures’ investments and volunteered her time with Pensions Legal. As one of the two top students in her Trial Advocacy class, Kayla was chosen to represent Osgoode at the 2016 Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) Cup.
Kayla was called to the Ontario bar in 2017. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
