Danny McMullen is an associate in our Real Property and Planning Group. He maintains a general real property practice with a focus on financings, mergers and acquisitions, development work, acquisitions and sales.
Mr. McMullen received his JD (with Distinction) at the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law in 2015. He received his BA in History (with Honours) with a focus on modern Canadian history from York University, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Proficiency in French.
While attending law school, Mr. McMullen was actively involved in fundraising activities with a particular focus on the school’s fundraising for Movember. Mr. McMullen also ran UNB Law’s Pro Bono Students Canada chapter where he helped launch the Wills Project which partnered with a major Atlantic Canadian regional law firm to provide wills and powers of attorney to low income families. Mr. McMullen was the recipient of multiple academic awards during his law school studies including the Lord Beaverbrook Scholarship in Law, the Emond Montgomery Prize in Property, the Bryden Family Prize in Administrative Law and the Leycester D’Arcy Q.C. Prize in Evidence. Mr. McMullen was the valedictorian of his graduating class.
Mr. McMullen was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Real Property Law section of the Ontario Bar Association.
