Élisabeth Brousseau is an associate in our Litigation Group in Montréal. Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, class actions, as well as professional and medical liability.
Ms. Brousseau assisted with the organization and co-presented at the "Recours collectifs : développements récents" conference on May 14 and 15, 2013, in Montréal and Québec City, as part of the mandatory continuing education program of the Québec Bar. She also helped to organize a conference held on June 11, 2014, entitled "Recours collectifs, l’essentiel en quatre thèmes". This conference was hosted at the McCarthy Tétrault Montréal office exclusively for clients of the firm. In February 2015, Ms. Brousseau also presented at the "Significant commercial litigation decisions in 2014" conference, part of the McCarthy Tétrault Advance™ continuing education program.
Ms. Brousseau received a Bachelor in civil law (LLB) from the University of Sherbrooke in 2010. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSc) from the University of Montréal, which she received in 2004.
Ms. Brousseau is a member of the Young Bar Association of Montréal. She has also been an active member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) since 2009. She currently chairs a CBA human rights conference. She was called to the Québec Bar in 2011.
