Gillian Piggott is an Associate in our Real Property and Planning Group in Vancouver. Her practice covers a range of commercial real estate, aboriginal and municipal legal matters.
Ms. Piggott joined the firm as a student in 2009. She received her B.Sc. (Honours), with Distinction, from Queens University, Ontario in 2007 and her J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2010. Ms. Piggott was called to the British Columbia bar in 2011.
Ms. Piggott's university awards included the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law Prize in Real Estate Law and Richard Campbell Memorial Scholarship.
Ms. Piggott is the author of "Rogers’ Chocolates Ltd. and the Corporation of the City of Victoria: a case comment on involuntary designation and the conservation of heritage buildings" published in the International Journal of Cultural Property in 2011.
Ms. Piggott is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of British Columbia.
