Our Commitment to the Community
At McCarthy Tétrault, we take great pride in giving back to the communities in which we practise. Our firm enjoys a long history of delivering pro bono legal services and participating in community programs with a goal to create opportunities that help all Canadians to succeed.
On both the national and local levels, we support a number of civic, health and social causes that contribute to community building and improvement. Our philanthropic organizations of choice include the United Way in the cities in which we practise, hospitals, organizations focused on medical research, national and local charities and arts organizations.
On a firm-wide basis, the McCarthy Tétrault Foundation provides funding for law school awards and bursaries and programs such as Pro Bono Students Canada and specific capital campaigns.
