Maxime Léveillé is an associate in our Business Law Group in Vancouver and Montréal. As a member of the Barreau du Québec and a Canadian Legal Advisor (Québec) in British Columbia, his practice focuses on commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, energy and infrastructure.

Before joining McCarthy Tétrault, Maxime worked as an in-house counsel in Paris starting in the Major Projects Legal Branch of the Colas S.A. company (Groupe Bouygues), following which he practised as an associate with the Paris office of a large international law firm where he advised both public entities (State, regions, departments) as well as private entities (corporate consortiums, financial institutions) in connection with public-private partnership (PPP) projects and concessions.

Maxime received a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Université de Montréal in 2008. He also completed a Master of Public Law and a Master of Public Economic Law at the Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

Maxime was a board member of the Association des Avocats au Barreau du Québec en France (AABQF) ("Association of Québec Bar Lawyers in France") from 2011 to 2012. He was called to the Québec Bar in 2009, to the Paris Bar in 2012 and to the British Columbia Bar as a Canadian Legal Advisor (Québec) in 2014.
