Zainab is a Law Practice Program candidate with McCarthy Tétrault. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Hull and a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of York in the United Kingdom.

She has demonstrated her expertise by conducting thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy in the International Trade Law practice.

During her time at law school, Zainab showcased her commitment to community engagement and empowerment by volunteering as a program manager at the Innovative Woman Africa Initiative. In this role, she designed innovative programs aimed at supporting women in innovation and entrepreneurship, ensuring that the needs of the target beneficiaries were carefully considered and addressed.

Outside of work, Zainab enjoys hosting events, travelling and playing soccer.
