Thomas Courvoisier Daoust is a paraprofessional in the Immigration Law Group in Montréal. Thomas assists clients in the drafting and filing of applications for temporary stay and permanent immigration to Canada. He assesses clients’ options in order to meet their needs as best as possible. He also ensures regular monitoring of legislative and regulatory provisions related to immigration to help clients adapt to their changes. Thomas is regularly called upon to perform research and in-depth analyses to resolve complex, atypical situations in which clients may find themselves.
Thomas has developed expertise in Canada’s permanent immigration programs and, especially, the new Express Entry system. He also specializes in the preparation for Labour Market Impact Assessments, a pre-condition to hiring temporary foreign workers. He regularly helps clients obtain study permits for their children and has extensive training in immigration law. Prior to joining our firm, he worked for the international mobility department of a foreign investment attraction organization in Quebec.
