Chief Financial Officer
Feaz Rahim is the Chief Financial Officer for McCarthy Tétrault and is responsible for all aspects of financial management for the firm including financial reporting, business analytics, performance measurement, tax, treasury and other aspects of finance operations in support of service to the firm’s clients and lawyers. As a member of the firm’s National Leadership Team, Mr. Rahim also supports the firm’s strategic direction setting process and internal governance framework.
Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault in 2014, Mr. Rahim spent his career in the corporate sector working with Barrick Gold Corporation in Toronto and with LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton in San Francisco and New York with a focus on finance team development and transformation, business process improvements, implementing business analysis and performance measurement functions. In addition his core responsibilities centered around financial and management reporting, tax, and treasury.
Mr. Rahim graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Accounting) from the University of Waterloo; obtained his Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo and is certified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada, Certified Public Accountant (Illinois) and Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. Rahim qualified as a CPA while articling at EY in both Toronto and San Francisco.
